Re: Frank Bruno
Not a hope in hell anyone will let him get back in the ring.

Quite sad to see.

Re: Frank Bruno
I opened this thinking he'd purchased a smallholding.

This is almost as sad.

Returning to whose ring?

I really like big frank, he would have beat the current crop of heavies on the same night.

Re: Frank Bruno
He's in bloody good shape for his age, but ridiculous really.

Is he skint because the miserable bitch wife rinsed him when they divorced?

Re: Frank Bruno
He is practically blind...who will grant him a licence? The Boxing Board of Luxembourg?

Boxing board of Um Bongo

Ah Yes!

I believe that is the very same nation which used to licence single hull rustbucket oil tankers to deposit the entire contents of their load in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean

Re: Frank Bruno
How many averager whoers could he take on in one go?

Re: Frank Bruno
In with a chance of getting his license if the ref from the Man City game is involved..

Re: Frank Bruno
Anyone remember him going incognito with Cass in the Chicken Run a few years back... did not want to be noticed so wore a big woollen trench coat and a flat cap... only thing was it was in August and it was about 80 degrees... yeah he properly blended in!!

Re: Frank Bruno
Lovely bloke was/is Frank and I always appreciated the tenner he gave me on the xmas's when I was his paper boy 27/28 years ago.

Only Robin Squire the MP gave me more (£20), though I now realise he probably claimed it on expenses!! ;o)

Mentally fragile half blind man wants to relive his youth. Should NOT be allowed to happen. Bruno needs a hug, not 50 punches to his head in 3 minutes. Madness.

Re: Frank Bruno
Sadly all too common in Boxing and even sadder that there will always be a market for it

If Alan Shearer announced tomorrow he was coming back for a season nobody would pay a reasonable amount to sign him nor would anyone be that interested to watch it

Ricky Hatton decides to lace them up one more time, Promoters jump over each other for a piece of the action, tickets sell out in minutes and a PPV channel buys the rights to screen it

Whatever happened to this supposed Eubank v Benn fight?

Eggbert Nobacon 4:27 Mon Feb 1
Re: Frank Bruno
someone probably told them they were being ridiculous and no board would sanction it

Re: Frank Bruno
Wasn't Bruno sectioned a while back? He could feasibly be thrown back in his padded cell just for suggesting this. Better off being Napolean for a day or two.

Re: Frank Bruno
He's another Gazza, a depressed fruitcake. I wish them both well though.
